Le rendez-vous est pris pour ce voyage qui vous offre les incontournables de la Martinique ! De la distillerie de rhum, à une plage de sable noir, sans oublier les ruines historiques et bien plus encore !
This is an excellent trip, well worth the money. Leslie is the organiser & I have to say was extremely helpful & super efficient. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly & funny. The stops were perfectly timed & varied. All-in-all, a cracking trip. Because there were only 10 of us we were not kept hanging around for stragglers either. Many of the stops could not accommodate a big bus & the roads are very twisting & narrow so this mini bus was the best way to see the island

Our tour guide was Joshua. He was knowledgeable, funny and personable. Highly recommend this tour. However, it would be best to advise Hotel Bamboo guests to inquire about the return ferryâs schedule before leaving the pier during morning pick-up to avoid unnecessary delay in the afternoon. We had to waive 2 hours for the next ferry to return to our hotel because we missed the ferry by 5 minutes after drop-off.
Beyond my expectations!

I can't praise Leslie Ferrati and Beyond the Beach highly enough! I've taken both the "Best of Southern Martinique" and the "Small Group Unmissable tour of the Ruins and Rum Distillery" with Beyond the Beach since I was fortunate to visit Martinique twice. Leslie is a consummate professional and extremely welcoming. The vans are new, air-conditioned, plush and comfortable. The vans are small intentionally holding 2-3 couples per excursion so we could visit a large number of wonderful sites. The large bus tours cannot move the tourists quickly, so they're very limited to stopping at just a few sites. Leslie and Miriam were both bi-lingual and very knowledgeable. The worst volcanic eruption of the 20th century, the Mt. Pelee volcano in 1902, killed everyone in St. Pierre, the largest city in Martinique, known as the Paris of the Caribbean, in 31 minutes. The sole survivor, Ludger Sylbaris, was locked in a prison cell made of stone. To walk through these ruins and have a peek into their history was fun and fascinating. In the van we were treated to fruit juices (with or without rum!), water and homemade cake. Once this horrible corona virus is over with I plan to visit Martinique again with Beyond the Beach.
Great overview of the island

Our tour guide did a wonderful job. She was very knowledgeable and pointed out other highlights besides those on our stops. Visited a black sand beach (from the volcano), ruins from the volcano, a distillery stop with a sample of rum and more. She offered all of us a piece of cake and either water or a rum punch. Good value for the money.
Not Happy

We took the tour in October and Sarah was our tour guide. When we got off our cruise ship, I asked Sarah twice how long the tour was and she said three hours. At hour four I said "you said we would be back in three hours" and she apparently didn't understand my English when I asked her originally. She said no it is six hours. My husband and I were exhausted from the heat and humidity. At the rum distillery she failed to tell the group when they needed to be back at the van. She ended up searching for four people who failed to show up while the rest of us sat in the van. We were very unhappy with the tour to say the least.
